In 1932, twenty-five charter boat and commercial fishermen formed what was known as the Boatmen's Association.  The primary mission of the group was to protect their fishing waters, sponsor the Texas Tarpon Rodeo, and support community activities.

Over the years, the old Boatmen's Association has undergone changes in both name and mission.

Of prime importance in the mission of the PAB is the funding of scholarships for the youth of Port Aransas.

This web site is dedicated to the membership, past and present, of the Boatmen's Association (Port Aransas Boatmen, Inc.), in appreciation for their outstanding contribution to the community of Port Aransas, Texas.
